Gogo Inflight Internet is now introducing a cheaper, daily way to connect.
Gogo All-Day Passes cost $14 per day. They come with 24 hours of continuous use on the same airline.
I find this to be a bit on the pricey side and don’t see myself paying for a pass on a regular basis. However, if you have a long flight and really need to get some work done I could see the value in connecting at 30,000 feet.
I’d probably find value in using the internet and buying a pass at under $10 per day (depending on the length of my flight) and now there is a way.
Gogo is now selling Smartphone Day-Passes for $8. The passes still come with 24 hours of continuous use on the same airline but it’s only good with smartphones and iPod Touch.
For $8 per 24 hours, I think this is a pretty good deal for a casual user that would like to kill some time on social sites like Facebook & Twitter or just surf the web. If you’re looking to make your time a bit more productive, then this won’t really be of much help.
What do you think of Gogo’s new all-day pass option? Would you rather spend the money and have internet access on your tablet and laptop or is it worth saving almost half the cost and just connecting via smartphone?

If you’re flying a lot and plan to use Gogo on a regular basis then you might want to buy a monthly pass.
Back in early December I came across an offer and wrote about how to save 30% off your first month of Gogo. The deal was supposed to expire on 12/31/13.
Well it turns out that the 30% off deal never expired and is currently still available.
While I don’t have a need for a monthly pass, I do think this is a great offer for those that are heavy Gogo users.
With this offer:
- Gogo Unlimited Passes cost $34.97 during your first month. Regular price is $49.95.
- Gogo Traveler Passes cost $27.97 during your first month. Regular price is $39.95.

Jason- I’m not too sure of this Blackberry access promo. Sounds interesting. Care to share?
Jeff- These would make for a nice little gift! They expire one year from date of purchase.
Google “gogo blackberry browser agent” 😉
Interesting! I haven’t flown on Delta domestic in 2 years so maybe that’s why I didn’t hear about or pay attention to this trick!
Do these expire? Would like to give them as gifts for relatives flying DL in May…
hmm…so would this work similarly to the Blackberry access promo last year, specifically where they only look for a browser agent to determine if it is a smartphone?
Maybe you see where I’m going here…
