Back in March of 2016 I wrote a post sharing news that a Nintendo theme park was being built in Japan.
While I’m not a huge fan of theme parks, I was definitely interested in this one due to being a big Nintendo fan growing up. The Vessel at Hudson Yards in New York City opened a little less than two years back with fanfare both positive and negative. The structure drew large crowds and makes for a very Instagram-worthy attraction.
We visited The Vessel a month after it opened. It’s a very impressive site to see in person. Lucas and I had a blast wandering climbing up and down the staircases, taking in incredible views, while also snapping some fun photos. In 2020, the Michael W Travels family visited a couple of US National Parks we hadn’t been to before.
We loved exploring Acadia NP in Maine and enjoyed (but weren’t overly impressed with) Great Smokey Mountains NP, located in North Carolina and Tennessee.
