Caffee Panna is one of the best ice cream shops in New York City.
The shop was opened in 2019 by Hallie Meyer, who’s father happens to know a thing or two about ice cream too. Her father, Danny Meyer is an advisor for Caffee Panna and is well known for Shake Shack and Union Square Hospitality Group.
Earlier today, I read some very sweet news from Eater, “Caffe Panna Is Opening Its First Brooklyn Ice Cream Shop.”
Eater writes that, the shop is “styled after Roman cafes, known for its seasonal flavors and affogato desserts.”
The second location, will open in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at 34 Norman Avenue, near Dobbin Street. There’s no exact opening date yet but it should open it’s doors in spring 2024.
We rarely get to the OG Union Square location but can see ourselves getting to the upcoming location semi-regularly when the time comes…
