Around New Years, many travel sites come out with their picks for the best places to travel for the upcoming year.
The New York Times recently shared their picks for 52 Places To Go For A Changed World.
My favorite travel guide company (can’t recall the last time I bought one), Lonely Planet shared their picks for Top 10 Countries in their Best In Travel 2022.
The list is made up of some interesting places, some of which we’ve been. We’ll also be heading to one of their picks over Spring Break.
Here is the Lonely Plant Top 10 Countries for 2022:
- Cook Islands
- Norway
- Mauritius
- Belize
- Slovenia
- Anguilla
- Oman
- Nepal
- Malawi
- Egypt
We’ve been to 5/10 countries picked by Lonely Planet. (Norway, Slovenia, Oman, Nepal and Egypt.) We’ll be heading to Belize over Spring Break and are currently in the early stages of planning our trip.
Where would we like to go from the remaining four countries?
I’ve been saying for quite some time that I’d love to head back to Africa soon. That would make Mauritius and Malawi stand for us.
How many places from Lonely Planet’s Top 10 Countries for 2022 have you been to? Where would you like to go from their list?
