Over the years, Kim and I have attended a bunch of time share offers to take advantage of various deals.
One of the best offers saved us around $300 in Fiji for 1.5 hours of our time.
The last timeshare offer we booked was back in 2018 with Hilton Grand Vacations. While the offer was awesome, the actual presentation was torture. Regardless, if an offer seems worth it, we’ll definitely book one again.
I just received an e-mail with an interesting timeshare offer from Club Wyndham.
Club Wyndham wants us to check out their Shawnee Village property in the Poconos.
In exchange for attending a 120 minute timeshare sales presentation, we’ll receive a $200 American Express Rewards card. The card is good for purchases virtually anywhere AMEX cards are accepted.
Some Rules:
- Call to set up a presentation time and date
- You and your partner, if married or cohabitation must attend a 120 minute timeshare sales presentation
Getting $100 per hour to attend a timeshare presentation is a decent offer but it isn’t overly exciting. First of all, you and your significant other need to attend so it’s really $50 per hour (per person). (And with gas prices so high, it might cost $50-$100 to drive from home to the Poconos round trip!)
We’ll be passing on this offer. What do you think?
Jim F- LOL, thanks! We have no interest in buying a timeshare just the perks which come with the offers!
Save your money…and time. My wife and I inherited a week at Shawnee Village (it’s a lovely property, actually…we used it for our honeymoon) and would be glad to sell you ours for $1.00.
Renee- I wondered something along those lines too. The thing is that they didn’t call me, they sent an e-mail for me to call them. Kinda slick of them. lol
i wonder if you called them and then turned it down, they’d throw in 15,000 points or something? Odd that they are not offering a two or three nights stay.
