With COVID-19 wreaking havoc on travel, maybe you’d just like to get away for a year.
One hotel in Bangkok, Thailand has a very special offer for you. For just $33,400 you can spend a full year at the Five-star Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit!
The deal is actually very interesting…
Lonely Planet writes that “the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit has launched a One Million Baht Club for up to two adults and two children sharing. They get to stay in a club room for 365 consecutive nights for ฿1m ($33,400).”
This definitely isn’t cheap but it isn’t outrageous when you hear what comes with being a member of the club.
For the $33,400, you get a ฿200,000 ($6653) food and beverage credit, use of the 24-hour fitness center, daily housekeeping service and meeting room usage. You can also relax with Club Lounge access where you can enjoy coffee, tea and evening cocktails and that’s not all!
I am not sure who would want to drive in Bangkok but you can park your car at the hotel. Even laundry is included, you can get six pieces washed and dry cleaned for you everyday.
All of your utility bills are also pretty much covered thanks to free WiFi, electric, water and local calls.
For those of you who like to celebrate their birthdays with a big bash, “a private rooftop birthday party at Spectrum lounge and bar with two hours of free-flowing house wines, beers and soft drinks for 20 people,” is also available to you.
Overall, this sounds like a pretty awesome deal, especially if you’re working in Bangkok. As a traveler, I’m not sure that I’d want to spend a full year in one location and at one property.

Fathiss- LOL, my job wouldn’t work with that arrangement either! It is hard to believe regarding the driving!
Love that hotel. Great deal indeed! But how can we take advantage when they’re blocking Americans from entry?
I’ve driven in Bkk many times. It’s actually not as bad as it looks. I know that’s hard to believe.
