Work has been underway at New York City’s LaGuardia Airport for quite some time now and I recently came across some great news!

Gothamist reported that a Shiny New LaGuardia Terminal Half-Opens With BBQ And Hand Sanitizer.

The newly finished half of Terminal B started welcoming fliers yesterday. The new terminal includes amenities like food from the excellent Hill Country BBQ, famous cheesecake from Junior’s and what Gothamist says is “an admirable attempt at a Keith Haring mosaic“.

With the COVID-19 pandemic not over yet, you’ll be happy to hear that there’s lots of hand sanitizer and wipes on hand.

Terminal B features plenty of touchscreens for checkin with sanitizer wipes next to them and passing through security is supposed to be much quicker thanks to new passenger screening device technology.

I don’t know exactly when we’ll be flying again but I do look forward to checking out the new LaGuardia Airport terminal. I’d also love to grab some Hill Country BBQ. We haven’t had it since their Brooklyn location closed!
