The Cartoon Network is opening their first hotel in the summer of 2019!
While I’m not a fan of the Cartoon Network and would have a hard time naming any of their shows, my six year old is already a fan. I’d love to visit when they open since it would probably be a ton of fun for both of my kids.
The property will be opening in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and sounds like it will have a lot of fun things to offer families.
Palace Entertainment says that “cartoon characters are the employees“. This already sounds like it will be a blast.
A kitchen in the lobby will have characters from shows like Adventure Time, We Bare Bears, The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10. They’ll also be making you pancakes and lattes!
The hotel will also have an outdoor ampitheater, movie screen and “resort-style” pool.
Amenities available on site will include a Cartoon Network store, indoor arcade, kids play area, coffee lounge and wine bar. So it will have things which will appeal to both kids and adults.
I’ve wanted to take Lucas to Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park for quite some time. The last time we tried going, it poured so we couldn’t make it. The park will be “just steps away” from the new Cartoon Network hotel.
There is no set date for the opening but the article mentions it will do so in summer 2019. And when it does, I’m hoping we’ll visit since it’s just a little over 2.5 hours away from Brooklyn, NY.
