MileagePlus Shopping is currently (as of October 1) running the Fall Bonus Campaign.
With the offer, you can earn up to 1,500 United Miles just for shopping online.
With the promo there are two tiers of earning. You can earn a bonus of either 500 or 1,500 United miles.
Here is how the promo works:
- Spend $150, earn 500 bonus miles (3.333 bonus miles per $)
- Spend $350, earn 1,500 bonus miles (4.28 bonus miles per $)
What’s nice about these offers is that the bonus is in addition to the regular miles you usually earn for shopping through the portal.
Some Rules:
- “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.
- Bonus award miles should post to your account 8-10 weeks after the Bonus Period ends.

Be careful with these offers. I’m still waiting for 3000 bonus shopping miles on the UA shopping portal. I suggest you take a screen shot of the UA (both with your phone & computer)offer and your shopping order with dates of purchases visible. I once had to fight hard to get my bonus miles & took 3 months to finally get them. Having a screen shot of the bonus offer saved the day for me.
