The Michael W Travels family visited Diggerland, an awesome construction theme park located in West Berlin, NJ back in the summer 2014.
Lucas was 2.5 at the time and asked on numerous to visit again. We didn’t get to go to Diggerland again until this past May and this construction theme park was even better than we remembered!
While away on our month- long trip around six former Soviet states, I received an e-mail about some upcoming events at Diggerland!
The 4th annual Touch-A-Truck at Diggerland will take place on September 8, 2018.
The event will take place from 9:00AM- 12:00PM outside the main entrance gates to the park. It’s free to the public and “benefits the special needs community“. Proceeds raised from the event go to benefit the SAMBULANCE program.
This sounds like a cool event where you can get up close to checkout different emergency vehicles and more.
Every weekend from October 6 through November 11 will be Diggerfest!
Special activities include:
- Hay Ride
- Corn Maze
- Pumpkin Launching (Additional Fee)
- Axe Throwing (Additional Fee)
- Diggerfest Parade
- Pumpkin Decorating
- Live Music
- Face Painting
Limited- Date Activities include:
- Trick or Treating Days (Oct. 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th)
- Halloween Costume Contest / Party (Oct. 27th/28th)
- Juggler / Stilt Walker (Nov. 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th)
There will also be special foods available for purchase.
While we won’t be able to attend the Touch-A-Truck event, I am hoping that we’ll get to go to Diggerfest during one of the dates in the Fall. These extra activities are bound to make visiting the park even more fun!
Have you visited Diggerland? If you have, how was your experience at the park?
Diggerland is located at 100 Pinedge Drive in West Berlin, NJ. It was a little less than a two hour drive from home (Brooklyn, NY) and is also pretty close to Philadelphia.
