In recent years, Airbnb has been a very good alternative to staying in hotels for my family. During our first time using the site (back in 2012), we stayed at a beautiful home in Singapore.
Since then we’ve used Airbnb numerous times in places like Italy, Cuba and Omaha, Nebraska- just to name a few!
There are a few good reasons to try Airbnb, if you haven’t already.
- Stay with/ meet locals
- Save some money
- Location
I just received an e-mail with the subject, “Celebrate your Airbnb anniversary with a gift.”
I was definitely curious to find out what this would be. Could it be a free night? Not likely. How about an Airbnb gift card? Doubtful.
When I opened the e-mail , I couldn’t wait to see what my gift was. It turned out that Airbnb sent me a code for 10% off a booking up until 10/17/17. With the code, the savings could be up until $200. Not too shabby.
The only problem I have is that after our trip to the Pacific I have nothing else planned (for now) so it’s unlikely that I’ll get to use the code.
Regardless, it was still nice of Airbnb to send me a little anniversary gift. Along with the gift, Airbnb sent some destinations they thought I might like (Paris, LA, San Francisco, Montreal, New Orleans and Austin.)
Have you ever received a gift from Airbnb? If so, feel free to share what you received?
