Most people like JetBlue. They have free snacks and free entertainment like WiFi and DIRECTV. No, they don’t offer free checked bags anymore but what could be so bad about the inflight experience?
Feet. Yes, feet would be the answer for one passenger on a recent JetBlue flight.
Jessica Char was on a flight from Long Beach, California to San Francisco. A quick Google search let me know that the flight’s just over an hour long. She shared photos from her “nightmare” JetBlue flight.
Char had a row to herself and told Travel + Leisure that “It’s right up there with being upgraded to first class! I even left all the arm rests up so I could live it up on my private bench in the sky.”
While enjoying her extra space, all of a sudden, one of the arm rests went down. Soon after, a foot came through the space and then another foot appeared. (Check out the photo above, just in case you missed it so far.)
Char took some photos and then went to log onto the inflight WiFi to post her nightmare to social media. Then the situation got even worse. Char says that “I saw the foot reach over to open and shut the window.” Gross!
By the time a flight attendant came over, the feet had returned to their proper place. The rude person didn’t seem to be very tall and was also in an extra space seat, according to Char.
I’ve heard many people complain when people put their feet up on the bulkhead of the plane. Personally I don’t see what all of the fuss is about as long as the person’s shoes are on. What this passenger experienced during this flight is just plain disgusting. I actually wondered if the story was real or not due to other funny tweets shared by T+L about the situation.

Rude- Valid reasons but I can’t recall every seeing poop on the bulkhead. Have you?
Captain Obvious- I hear ya but I’m still looking at it from a comfort standpoint. Just curious Mr. Obv- if you are sitting by the gate, in a lounge, on the plane or anywhere and somebody is sitting with their leg crossed, do you run the other way to avoid the bottom of their shoe?

Yeah, apparently you think floors are clean. Guess what, they aren’t. Take urine and feces, dirt, germs, you name it and then rub them on the walls of the plane. I’m not even talking about the plane itself, but would you walk into a lavatory with your bare feet? No right? And why? Because there is urine on the floor? Yeah, you see how your statement is silly now right? It’s not any better than taking nasty toejam bare feet and smudging them all over the bulkhead. People just need to keep their feet off of surfaces that aren’t the FLOOR.
Shoes in dog poo. Dog poo on bulk head. Or even better. On seats, tables
