Movie star Jennifer Lawrence had a bit of a scare over the weekend. The private plane she was flying aboard had to make an emergency landing when of the engines failed.
The Academy Award winner was flying from her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky (where she was visiting family) to New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport.
The plane made an emergency landing in Buffalo, New York. As the emergency landing was underway, the second engine also failed.
The Hawker Beechcraft B40 landed in Buffalo at 1:40 PM.
Jennifer Lawrence made it off the plane luckily without any injuries. Emergency vehicles were waiting for the plane when it landed.
Yahoo News shared the story from GMA. In the article, ABC News aviation expert Col. Steve Ganyard said “Airplanes have two engines because occasionally one fails, but two [engines] are not supposed to fail“.
