If you happen to be in the market for a new Android smartphone then this promo might be for you.

Country Inn and Suites has a new offer where you can get a FREE Android Smartphone. But of course there’s a catch.

I’ll will say this up front. I am not interested in this offer since I’ve been using iPhones for years and do not want an Android device.

If you qualify for the offer, to get the free phone, a new or upgrade 2 year activation is required. So you really can get a free phone but you’ll need to sign a contract.

To qualify to get a free Android Smartphone you’ll need to stay two or more consecutive nights at participating US Country Inn and Suites Hotels by December 31, 2015.  Just make sure to book your stay on the Free Android Smartphone Offer page.

Once you stay two or more consecutive nights, you’ll then receive a redemption link to your e-mail.

If you claim a free Android Phone you’ll be required to sign an agreement with selected service provider for two years.

Some Rules:

• Offer open to legal residents of the 50 United States & DC
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Offer ends December 31, 2015 or when all smartphones have been claimed

What do you think of this offer? At first it sounded really interesting but once I saw the need to lock-in a two year agreement, it certaily lost a lot of the value.
