One of the highlights of our trip to Myanmar (Burma) is sure to be our visit to Bagan, “home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world” according to Wikitravel.
When I read about an area known as “mini-Bagan”, I knew that we had to visit. It sounded like a good way to see some awesome Myanmar Temples…
While Bagan has a couple of thousand religious sites, this “mini-Bagan” in Paleik has a mere few hundred in close proximity to each other.

After our quick visit to the Myanmar Temples of Paleik, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us to see in Bagan!
The ruins of Paleik can be visited along with the Snake Pagoda as a half-day trip while visiting Mandalay.
