The 5th annual Grub Street Food Festival is back tomorrow at the Hester Street Fair.
The event takes place on New York City’s Lower East Side from 11AM- 5PM.
Last year Kim, Lucas and I attended the festival for the first time. We had a great time and tried out some awesome food. Check out my post about our experience here. It looks like some of the same vendors will be at the event this year along with some new ones.
According to the Hester Street Fair, here is what you can expect “Local Restaurants and food vendors, special menus, give-aways and prizes… PLUS the Grub Street Beer Garden with special interactive gaming, and a Bud Light Tailgate zone to watch all of the Sunday games and matches“.
Here are some restaurants/ vendors that will be at the fair:
- Doughnut Plant
- Roberta’s
- Meathook Sandwich
- Delaney Barbecue
- Davey’s Ice Cream
- Khao Man Gai
- Luke’s Lobster
- Melt Bakery
- and many more
Admission is free so if you’re in the city and like food, there’s no reason to not stop by!
I’ll be running a 5K in the Merrell Down & Dirty Obstacle Race tomorrow morning in the Bronx. If I’m not too exhausted and dirty, we’re going to plan on heading to the festival after.
The Hester Street Fair is located at the corner of Hester & Essex Streets. If you’re taking the subway, take the FJMZ to Delancey or F to E.Broadway.
Find out more and check out the full list of vendors that will be in attendance here.
