Club Carlson points lost a lot of value (around half?) when the generous 2nd night free benefit went away a couple of years back. Regardless, I still kept my credit cards open since I feel that the 40,000 renewal bonus points given are worth more that the annual fee.
I just received an interesting bonus offer where I can earn 2,500 bonus Club Carlson points for making four online purchases.
The way the offer works is that between now and December 31, 2017, I need to make four online purchases of $25 or more using my Club Carlson Premier Rewards card.
So for $100 in spend with my Premier Card, I’ll be earning a bonus of 25 Club Carlson points per $1 spent. This definitely sounds like a decent offer although I’m not sure that I’ll try to earn it. I guess it will just depend on where I’m doing my online shopping.
While it doesn’t specifically state that this is a targeted offer, the e-mail does mention that the offer is not transferable.
Some Rules: (from the T&Cs)
- 2,500 bonus points will be applied to your account within 10-12 weeks after the end of the promotion period.
- Your account must remain open, have available credit, and be current (no minimum payment past due) to qualify.
- This offer may not apply if your credit card has changed to a different type of card within the last 12 weeks or changes before the Bonus Reward is applied.
Did you receive this offer from US Bank? If so, do you plan on earning the bonus?
While we’re on the topic of bonuses, find out how I recently received 10,000 Club Carlson points for an Instagram photo here.
Bill- I don’t see why not as long as you can pay with a credit card.
Do think on line donations to charitable organizations will work?
