Over Spring Break, we spent a week in Belize. During our trip, we visited the Cayo District/ San Ignacio and San Pedro (aka Ambergis Caye).
On San Pedro, there are very few cars. The primary way to get around besides walkings is by golf cart.
We decided to rent a cart one day so we could see more of the island and take a trip over to Secret Beach.
Along the way, there were lots of speed bumps. Some of them seem to appear out of nowhere, while others have signs to give you a heads up.
One sign was of particular interest to us, causing a bit of a laugh. The two bumps look nothing like the speed bumps on the road and it simply says “BUMP”.Here’s a closer look at the sign. While I don’t believe that I’ve ever seen this sign in person, I think it was sent to me or I’ve seen a photo of it online.
Do you think that the image on the sign is a good example of a speed bump or a different kind of bump?
