Spirit Airlines is known for bizarre sales and promos where they tie-in (make fun of) current events.
The promo that stands out most was when Spirit made fun of politician Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal. A little over a year back they also had the State of the Hate Report where they were giving away up to 1,000,000,000.
In honor of the $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot where there were three winners, Spirit is running their own giveaway.
In Spirit’s newest promo, the 1.6 Billion-Miles Jackpot, everyone can be a winner.
From the jackpot, everyone can win 1,000 miles!
How to get the free points:
- To enter you need to have a Free Spirit account. (If you don’t already have one you can sign up here.)
- Once you enter your name and Free Spirit number on the entry page, your points will post to your account within 14 days.
Considering Spirit is willing to give out such a large sum of miles, it’s too bad they aren’t offering us each a bit more! Last year’s State of the Hate gave each member 8,000 miles.
While 1,000 Spirit miles isn’t going to get me far, I’ll still claim my miles. The problem is that they’ll most likely expire before I can do anything with them.
