United MileagePlus Cardmembers can now get 30,000 bonus miles by signing up for DirecTV.
That’s more than enough miles for a roundtrip Saver Award ticket within the continental U.S., Alaska and Canada.
While I have no interest in switching to DirecTV, this sounds like a pretty solid offer if you planned to or considered changing your cable provider.
To earn the bonus, you must sign up for a 24 month agreement and get the Entertainment Package or above.
The first 12 months costs $29.99 and includes Free Genie upgrade- one HD DVR powers your entire home and Free for 3 months: HBO, Starz, Showtime & Cinemax.
This offer is good for new customers only.

After 12 months, how much does DirectTV charge for the months 13-24?
I’m not too sure but I know packages vary based on where you live.
I signed up for this promo back in September. Still no miles posted. United was no help and Direct TV gave me runaround twice. It’ll be another two to four weeks, sir. Ugh.
Wow, I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t get the bonus yet. Did you print out or take screen shots of the offer you signed up for? Maybe you filled in your United # corretly?
