A little over a year back I wrote a review of the Hoboroll, “a luggage organizer that provides compression of items as well as multiple storage compartments”.
I found the Hoboroll to be very useful when it came to packing for a short weekend trip. With relatively small compartments I found it hard to fit a bunch of my shirt into one. Because my clothes are pretty bulky, I found it to be of little use to me. However, when it came to Lucas this is where the Hoboroll excelled. We could fit just about all of his things into the Hoboroll in an organized way for a 10-12 day trip.
The people behind Hoboroll decided to make the product even better. An updated version will offer more space (60% more capacity), be made from a lighter material (57% lighter), have stronger clasps, now have an inner zipper pocket to secure small items and a shoulder strap.
To make the Hoboroll version 2 a reality, Gobi Gear turned to Kickstarter to raise the necessary funds.
Gobi Gear was looking to raise $20,000 but with four days to go has well exceeded this amount with $67,000 from over 1,200 backers.
By supporting Gobi Gear’s Kickstarter campaign you can get in on receiving the new Hoboroll version 2 at a discounted price. ($25 is the lowest pledge amount that gets you a Hoboroll.)
