At the end of the week, the Michael W Travels family will head off on our last trip of 2018. We’re all excited to get away for a much needed trip!

We’ll be visiting two countries. One of them Kim and I each visited separately, years back, both will be new countries for the kids.

As the winter break nears, we’ve been busy tying up lose ends surrounding our upcoming trip. The last things to do on our list are booking tickets for a few sights we plan to visit in an attempt to avoid long lines.

I hope that everybody had a nice Thanksgiving Weekend.

Besides doing some shopping (online only), we headed to Philadelphia for a one- night visit where we ate some good food. We also went to the Legoland Discovery Center, which both Lucas and Theo really love.

Last week I wrote about how I had applied for a credit card and was awaiting a response as to whether or not I was approved.

I expected a call from the bank for more information before getting a decision. To my surprise, I received an envelope over the weekend with my new credit card inside!
