When you fly in a private jet I’d assume that the service has got to be top notch. All of the attention is on you and your small party of fellow passengers.

When you fly commercial, odds are pretty high that there are many passengers for the flight crew to take care of, regardless of what cabin you’re flying in.

The most personal attention that we’ve ever had was on a flight with Singapore Air when Kim, Lucas and I plus one other passenger, were the only ones flying in Business Class.

Imagine flying on a 189-passenger plane and being the only one onboard. That’s what happened to Karen Grieve last weekend when she was flying on Jet2 from Glasgow to Crete.

Grieve said that she expected her flight to Crete to be quiet since it was the end of the season for the Greek island.

At check-in, Grieve found out how many passengers would be on the flight. “I asked the girl at check-in how many were going to be flying and she said I should guess,” Grieve told the Daily Record. “So I counted it down from 10 and it turned out there were three people booked on.”

Then Grieve found out from flight crew that the two other passengers failed to show up so she was about to have a private, four hour flight on Jet2!

T+L mentions that, “before the doors had closed, she was on a first-name basis with the cabin crew.

Some of the coolest parts of the flight was that Grieve received personalized announcements throughout the flight as she sat in the first row! And when the plane landed, she did not need to wait for the luggage, it was handed right to her.

The price of her ticket only cost $60 (£46) for her private flight. Amazing!
