The Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world. Around 7 million visit people each year.

The iconic tower offers amazing views. A friend and I took the stairs when we visited years back. It’s also lit up at night.

For a limited time there’s a free, adventurous attraction being offered at the Eiffel Tower.

The new attraction is “a zip line stretching from the Tower, across the Champs de Mars, and finishing at the L’École Militaire“, according to CN Traveler!

To celebrate the start of the French Open, Perrier set up the exciting new ride.

The zip line is called Le Perrier Smash. At a height of over 375 feet and at speeds of around 55 miles per hour, it’s sure to get the adrenaline pumping in those adventurous enough to give the ride a try.

CN Traveler mentions that the speed of the zip line is around “the same as a high powered tennis serve.”

The zip line is quick, lasting around one minute. This might sound a bit quick for a ride but the price is right since it’s free.

If you happen to be in Paris for the next few days, you’re in luck. The Le Perrier Smash will only be open until June 11.

If I was in Paris I’d definitely love to give this new Eiffel Tower zip line a try. Would you?

  1. I think it’s an insult to a famous landmark but I’m sure opinions vary. It would actually make me less likely to visit during this time. How could they make it worse, maybe they could give away free drones as well.
    Sorry to sound so negative.
