Sports stars have stepped up to help out during emergencies during flights and now we can add an 80s pop star to the list.

In 2013, former Mets pitcher LaTroy Hawkins helped subdue an unruly passenger during a flight. In 2016, former NFL quarterback (and current Mets minor leaguer) Tim Tebow helped out during a medical emergency during a flight.

While flying from Vietnam to South Korea, singer Richard Marx had to step in to help control an unruly passenger.

Marx was flying with his wife, former MTV VJ Daisy Fuentes on Tuesday when a passenger lost it during the flight.

Fuentes took photos of what took place and then Marx posted them to his Twitter account. The photos show Marx helping the flight attendants restrain the man. One shows Marx sitting back in his seat exhausted. You can see others giving him a pat for his good deed.

Before posting the photos, Marx tweeted how we’d be hearing about Korea Air Flight 480. “Passenger next to us attacked passengers and crew. Crew completely ill trained.” according to ET. He also mentioned how the situation took place for over 4 hours and again mentioned how the crew was not trained to deal with the situation. (They also have video what took place.)

The article mentions that two passengers and a crew member were injured. Upon landing, the unruly passenger was arrested by the Seoul police.

Unruly passengers be on alert: If you see Richard Marx on a flight, he’ll be Right Here Waiting for you!
