I can’t say that I have anything exciting to report when it comes to miles, points and travel from this past week. However, there are a couple of interesting things of note to report and remind you about (and they’re not exactly good news).
If you’re looking to book shorter routes with British Airways Avios, on February 2nd awards which cost 4,500 points will now cost 7,500 points. That’s a pretty big increase but still a pretty good deal.
There are two new redemption categories being introduced by IHG. Some hotels will be going up to cost 60,000 points per night! Find out more from View From the Wing here.
And now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past weeks posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!
This has got to be one of the most ridiculous Airbnb rentals ever.
We had a great time during our recent trip to Cuba. If you’re thinking of visiting, check out my Resources for planning a trip to Cuba.
A McDonald’s menu item in Japan I’d LOVE to try. What do you think of it?
I can’t say that I’m surprised… AA loses golfer John Daly’s clubs.
If you’re not already a member of JetBlue TrueBlue and are thinking of joining, now might be the time. Join JetBlue TrueBlue & fly, earn 3,500 bonus points. Book & fly by 3/14/16.
A strange glitch possibly in a current promo. What’s up with these extra IHG Priceless Surprises e-mails?
I wouldn’t mind getting to warmer climate for a few days. Win a trip for 2 to Scottsdale, Arizona. Enter daily until 3/26/16 at 5:00PM PST.
Here’s a strange story about an Uber driver arrested for injuring service dog.
And we end with one of the more bizarre in-air stories I’ve come across in a while. Delta flight attendants fight, plane makes unscheduled landing.
That’s all I’ve got!
