We love experiences which include animals while traveling.

In 2012, I wrote about My Top 5 Animal Encounters. It could probably use an update with A Visit to the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital being added to the list.

One day I’d love to pay a visit to see the swimming pigs in the Bahamas. Tragedy struck these special pigs a few months back. Who knows if regulations will change, stopping tourists from interacting with the pigs in the future.

Woman Suing Hotel For Getting Pregnant From Affair

This has got to be one of the odder stories I’ve come across in quite some time…

A woman is suing a hotel in Halle, Germany due to a three-night stay from back in 2010. She had an affair with a man, only knowing his first name- Michael.

Barack Obama Is Spending A Month On A Private Island

Barack Obama has been enjoying himself since his time as POTUS came to an end.

Just a couple of weeks after his presidency ended, Obama spent time vacationing at Richard Branson’s Necker Island. I’ve also read that he’s been spotted dining around New York at some of the city’s top restaurants.

Swimming Pigs in Bahamas Found Dead

Kim and I have had many wonderful animal experiences during our travels over the years.

We loved seeing a wide variety of wildlife during our visits to Africa, were educated and got up close with elephants at the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand, swam with turtles in Barbados and got to see turtles lay eggs in Oman. (Check out a post from 2012 which has My Top 5 Animal Encounters.)

Scam: Tourist Charged $310 for Photo with Times Square Mickey Mouse

Awesome FREE Pop-Up Opened at Denver Airport

Airports offer a variety of different amenities to help travelers pass the time and be more comfortable while flying.

At Las Vegas McCarran Airport you can stick with the city’s theme and do some gambling. A woman even won $1,000,000 there earlier in the year. JFK Airport has a pet relief area and an outdoor roof deck to relax at. Some airports offer free tours during long layovers.

Virgin Australia Being Sued For Spilling Coffee on Teen’s Lap

Virgin Australia is being sued by a 16 year old boy who was burned by hot coffee while flying from Los Angeles to Sydney in 2015.

When I first read the title of the T+L article, “Teen Sues Virgin Australia After Hot Coffee Caused Him ‘Worst Pain He’s Ever Felt’, I assumed that a flight attendant must’ve spilled coffee on him but that was not the case.
