Happy BirthdayOn the last full day of our month-long trip around the Balkans, we wished Theo a very Happy Birthday!

Theo got to celebrate his 5th birthday in Croatia! And while he didn’t get as cool of a party as he did when he turned 2 in India (thanks Hyatt!), we did get to celebrate.

HyattIn the summer of 2019, the Michael W Travels family went on a four week trip around South Asia. During our trip we visited 5 countries, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and India.

During our visit to Nepal, Hyatt helped me celebrate visiting my 100th country with an awesome surprise. Due to this and another Hyatt stay during our trip, we were beyond impressed with the company’s customer service.

I want to wish my little man Theo a very Happy Birthday in the online world! (We told him many times on his actual birthday!)

Over the summer, the Michael W Travels family headed off on a month- long trip to six former- Soviet states.

On August 30, 2016 the Michael W Travels family got a big surprise. Theo couldn’t wait to meet his family, arriving 5 weeks early.

It was definitely a bit scary at first. Theo had to spend some time in the NICU, although not nearly as long as what we were originally told. After six nights, Theo came home and got to meet big brother Lucas.

Boy what a difference a year makes.

Theo’s Six Months Old Travel Update!

My little man Theo turned 6 months old a couple of weeks back. He was born a bit early on August 30. I guess he was eager to meet Mommy, Daddy and big brother Lucas!

Theo Takes His First Flight at 7 Weeks Old!

Kim, Lucas and I were thrilled to recently add a new member to our family- Theo Oliver!

Since the three of us love to travel, we wanted to start our little guy off early. Lucas got to fly for the first time (to Barbados) at a week shy of three months old. This time around we were looking to going a bit sooner.

A couple of weeks back we headed to Portland, Oregon for a quick visit. This would be Theo’s first time on an airplane at just 7 weeks old!

Welcome Theo Oliver to the Michael W Travels Family!

Back in April I wrote about how I had to cancel an AA award flight to Fiji & Vanuatu due to a great reason. Kim was pregnant, we were expecting our second child!

While Kim was pregnant she was grounded from flying. Since I have a hard time sitting still (and not traveling), Lucas and I went on a bunch of Father-Son Trips which would be awesome new experiences!
