Next week, we head off on our first summer trip. It will be a new country for all of us and should be a very interesting experience.

After much debate and lots of obstacles, we decided to change our upcoming end of school year trip.

Luckily, jetBlue doesn’t charge for flight cancellations. The only thing now is that we have a credit for the taxes from our canceled international flight. Over the weekend, we’ll be heading to Denver for a quick trip. This was a trip we were supposed to take last year.

However, JetBlue canceled our flight when we were minutes from the airport and we never made it. This time around, the kids will be coming with us. After procrastinating for too long, I finally booked the last hotel night we needed for our upcoming trip to Denver.

Hotel prices aren’t cheap in Denver and we’ll be arriving pretty late, so I hoped to find some sort of deal. Initially, a Radisson property wasn’t available when I first looked a while back. We got back from our glamorous Spring Break trip to Cleveland and Detroit this past weekend.
