Paris Catacombs
From Michael W Travels visit in 2001

During my second trip to Europe in 2001, I got my first taste of a site that I consider odd.

I was in Paris with a friend and I called home to say hello to my family. My mother had come across an interesting article in an upstate NY newspaper. She told me about a site which had recently reopened in Paris.

Right after the call, I stopped at a Tourist Information Center to inquire about the Paris Catacombs. Continue reading Teens Lost 3 Days in Paris Catacombs, Rescued

Dunluce Castle- (Castle Greyjoy in GoT)

It seems that the thing to do with hit TV shows is host a pop-up!

There were pop-ups of AMC’s Breaking Bad restaurant Los Pollos Hermanos in a few cities back in April. A Saved By The Bell pop up was supposed to tour the country last year.

In a little over a week Washington, DC will be getting a Game of Thrones pop-up bar. Continue reading Washington, DC Getting A Game of Thrones Bar for a Limited Time

AA Loses Pro’s Golf Clubs, AA & United Shopping Bonus Offers, Eiffel Tower Zip Line, Chase Ink Retention, Korean Professional Baseball- The Rehash!

rehash

It finally feels like summer here in NYC. Over the weekend we were quite busy heading to some parks and checking out some new (to us) restaurants. We found a new place to go for an awesome burger as well as another great place to go for pizza. Win win…

Otherwise, I’m considering getting the Marriott Business credit card since I received a direct mailer. I’m not sure if the card falls under Chase’s 5/24 rule. Do you know?

How has your week gone when it comes to miles, points and travel? Continue reading AA Loses Pro’s Golf Clubs, AA & United Shopping Bonus Offers, Eiffel Tower Zip Line, Chase Ink Retention, Korean Professional Baseball- The Rehash!
