Earn 5,000 AA Miles, Drug Smuggling Delta Pilot, Tragedy at VooDoo Doughnut, Lifetime Uber Ban, Crying Baby on Flight, Rideshare Juno at NYC Airports, New Bourdain Website & More- The Rehash!

Rehash

The Michael W Travels family is currently exploring South Korea!

Our flight with United from Newark to Beijing was pretty comfortable. For the next leg we flew with Asiana to Seoul. We’re all feeling jet lag to different degrees but dealing with it pretty well.

How has your week gone when it comes to miles, points and travel? Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!

A couple of weeks back I wondered if rideshare service Juno was available at NYC airports. After contacting the company it turned out that Juno is available at NYC airports!

If you’re looking to join a big box shopping club you can earn up to 5,000 AA miles when you join Sam’s.

Here’s an offer to earn up to 1,000 bonus Alaska Airlines miles for shopping.

There was some sad new and a tragedy at the famous VooDoo Doughnut.

Stupid news as a drug smuggler tried to sneak into the US as Delta pilot.

It’s nice to read stories like this… An uncontrollable crying baby, flight attendant to the rescue.

This might be of interest to some of you- Anthony Bourdain now has a Parts Unknown website.

Before our flight I received an e-mail from United Airlines to allow for extra time at Newark Airport.

More stupid news- A woman deservedly received a lifetime ban from Uber.

Here’s a good reason to be extra careful when taking selfies- A woman fell 60 feet off of Foresthill Bridge while taking a selfie.

That’s all I’ve got for this week’s rehash! ‘Til next time.

  1. Michael,
As you’re traveling in Korea, check on the United Airlines’ faux pas of last week. Thoughts?
