SPG Points Transfers, TSA PreCheck, Wyndham Retention Offer, FREE Slurpee, Plane Lands At WRONG Airport, Contests, The Habit Burger & More- The Rehash!

Rehash

Lucas and I are heading off on our second Father- Son Trip. This will be Lucas’s 32nd country visited and sadly not a new one for me! 🙂  I’ll share more details about it in a future post.

After getting the confirmation e-mail for the JetBlue points match with Virgin America, I’ve been considering various flight options to earn my points. Do I make this a true mileage run (not really my thing) or attempt to make it into a short (few hours to a day) trip? Tough decision here…

How has your week gone when it comes to miles, points and travel?

Now its time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!

This was really frustrating and I still feel that SPG points transfer just don’t make any sense.

Find out why US Customs and Border Protection want visitor’s social media info.

Did I get a Wyndham Rewards credit card retention offer?

A bonus offer from United Airlines: Earn 500 bonus miles from United Shopping. (Offer Expired)

This is a pretty interesting offer but not one that I’d most likely do. Another way to get TSA PreCheck.

Scary… United flight makes an emergency landing due to bird strike.

Some nice prizes to be had here: Win a trip for 2 or 1/5 free nights at Country Inns & Suites.

You might as well enjoy when the price is right! Get a FREE Slurpee on 7/11!

A rather disappointing dining experience. I won’t be making a habit of dining at The Habit Burger Grill.

This contest is super easy to enter: Win $500 towards travel from Smarter Travel and Jetsetter.

Stupid News? Big mistake? Should we just laugh or could this have led to a dangerous situation? A Delta Airlines plane landed at the WRONG airport.

That’s all I’ve got!
