On November 15, the IHG Priceless Surprises promo started. The main way to enter is by completing a qualifying stay.
However, a more popular and cheaper way to get all 94 of the entries has been by handwriting and mailing in entry forms which. The cost to enter this way comes out to around $47 and the time (and pain) it takes to write out the entries. All mail entries must be postmarked by February 15, 2016.

When the promo first started there were a lot of questions about whether or not the mail-in entries would count. Based on how it’s been going for me and by some of you, I have to say that besides a delay in receiving entries and having the points post to our accounts, it’s actually gone quite well!

A couple of days back I noticed that 16,000 more IHG points posted from Priceless Surprises.
Then, the following day I received another 8 entries!
Since I earned all of my “B” group prizes (1,000, 2,000 or 5,000 points), I was hoping to finally win an “A” group prize (trips, gift cards & more). The other option was to win the minimum prize from the “C” group of 500 points.
So, how did I do?
I played each game hoping to win one of the A prizes but I struck out. I won a C group prize of 500 points from each of the new entries.
That gives me 4,000 more IHG points from playing Priceless Surprises.
I’ve now received e-mails for all 80 of my entries. From the entries I’ve won 46,500 points so far.
At this point I have to finish my final 14 entries. If I win the minimum prize of 500 points per entry, that will give me 7,000 more points.
That would give me 53,500 points from playing IHG Priceless Surprises. Not a bad haul for under $50 and the time it took to write my entries!

53 tries for 34,500 points so far. I only received 21 emails, but I just kept hitting the link. B prizes are maxed out.
I expect the rest in a week or so.
My remaining 63 emails arrived earlier this week (I had mailed all 94 at once Dec 1). I had already won my “B” group prizes last week so I was also hoping for maybe an “A” group prize but all 63 entries were for the 500 points. I ended up with 59,000 points so I am pretty happy!
I’ve submitted about 75 entries…have played about 40 of them. I’ve won 1000 pts x 4 but the rest have all been 500 pts. Hoping to get lucky with the remaining 35 when they come in!
