Amex Offers, Credit Card Retention Offers, Win 250K SPG Points, Lonely Planet US Magazine & More- The Rehash!

Rehash

I finally booked a hotel for our upcoming trip to Toronto. Thanks to miles & points, the cost of our hotel stay is $0. (It did cost me a Marriott Credit Card Anniversary Certificate + some points.) I’m also making progress on booking our winter break trip which should be a great one, to a destination I’ve long wanted to visit.

I haven’t applied for any new credit cards but did finally get a verbal approval on a card with a big bonus that I applied for weeks back. Hopefully it arrives soon and I can start knocking out the spend required to earn the bonus.

How has the week gone for you in miles, points and travel?

Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call The Rehash!

While American Express Small Business Saturday will not take place with statement credits this year, I did get 3 Amex cards, 2 different Shop Small Amex Offers.

I’m still waiting to find out about a Club Carlson credit card retention offer? Possibly.

New passport + Global Entry? Maybe no need to do this. I still will for Lucas though.

This is just sick and scary at the same time. Sudanese Muslim tried to kill Israeli during flight.

I’m looking forward to checking out a copy soon. Lonely Planet Magazine launches in the US.

An amazing offer that I’m hoping to take advantage of. Airbnb $50 off $100 from Amex Offers.

A targeted offer that I don’t think I’ll be going for although it is an interesting one. Spend $6,000= 3,000 bonus points w/ Southwest credit card.

My Amex SPG credit card retention offer. Although nothing amazing, I’ll keep the card for another year.

Boy would I love to win this! I’m sure many of us would…  Win 250,000 Starwood Starpoints from SPG Moments. Enter daily until 11/12.

Some of the most amazing and creative photos I’ve seen in a very long time. You NEED to see these Instagram photos.

I’d like to try this out at some point in the future. A faster (& free) way through customs than Global Entry.

That’s all I’ve got!
