Rehash

Currently Kim, Lucas and I are on our trip around some of the Middle East Gulf States.

So far we’ve visited Abu Dhabi (UAE), Bahrain, Qatar and (at the time of writing) are on our way to Oman where we’ll spend around five days seeing the country. The trip’s been going well so far with lots of moving around (and flights). It’s also been extremely hot although it isn’t like we didn’t expect it.

We’ve been very busy so there hasn’t been much doing in terms of miles and points other than the fact that we used lots of them to keep the costs down during this little adventure!

How has your week gone in terms of miles, points and travel?

Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call The Rehash!

I started off the week with some Stupid News: man dressed as bear harasses 3 feeding bears.

There’s got to be a better way to make some money than by doing this! A teen was caught stealing from Pompeii, wanted to buy an iPhone.

More Cuba news: American Airlines L.A. to Cuba charter service announced.

This place would probably be amazing to stay at but it’s just a bit out of my price range… Rent Ted Turner’s home for $6,000 per night.

I shared some thoughts on why I don’t like all-inclusive resortsHow do you feel about AIs?

If you like chicken you’ll want to read this. Check out my Review: Fuku Spicy Chicken Sandwich- NYC.

Some great sites made Lonely Planet’s picks for the top sites in the world.

I laughed when I first saw this. Review the government on Yelp.

I found this interesting but it won’t really be of much help to me. Airbnb partners with lux car company Tesla.

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous reasons ever for a flight delay… A smartphone causes plane to make an emergency landing,

That’s all I’ve got! Hope you all have a great week…
