ACT FAST: $15 OFF When Paying with OpenTable App

OpenTable app

OpenTable is hoping that you’ll end the summer by dining out and they also want you to save.

OpenTable has been spreading the word about its new payment feature. When you make a reservation through the app, you can now pay without waiting for your bill at select restaurants.

Over the past few months, OpenTable has offered essentially free money to dine and pay using the app and now they are offering the chance to save $15 for a limited time.

Back in April, Kim, Lucas and I dined at Lafayette in New York City. The restaurant is a bit on the pricier side but since OpenTable was offering $20 off through the app, it was like getting one meal for free!

We enjoyed our meal but Paying with OpenTable was a real pain. I think the problem stemmed from not having the newest version of iOS on my iPhone. However, when I called in this was not what I was told.

Since then the terms for this offer have changed. It now mentions that iOS 7 or 8 is required. (For Android, version 4.3 and up.)

How can you save $15 on a dine through OpenTable?

When you dine out from August 29 & 30 at a restaurant that accepts OpenTable mobile payments, you can save $15 by entering promo code: brunch.

While I was able to use a promo two times with the help of customer support and lots of time wasted on the phone, this offer is now only good for first time mobile payment users. So if you’ve redeemed one of these offers before, you won’t be able to save again (unless you open a new account etc…).

Some other things to consider:

  • You must enter the promo code brunch in the payment settings section of the app.
  • Make a reservation and dine by 11:59 pm PT on August 30, 2015.
  • $15 credit will only work at select restaurants.
  • Credit is only good for dining-in and paid for through Pay with OpenTable.
  • Only one $15 credit can be redeemed per person.
