IHG has been running the One More Day Sweepstakes since the middle of last month. However, I just came across it and felt it was worth sharing since there are lots of great prizes!

In the sweepstakes, one lucky grand prize winner will win a trip for 4 to Las Vegas with the prize including 240,000 AAdvantage miles, $1,000 spending money and more. 60 first place winners will each win one free night at an IHG property.

The interesting thing about the contest is how you enter. The sweepstakes is being ran by IHG and Mastercard. One way to enter is by booking & completing a stay with your Mastercard. The only other way to enter (and the way to do so without making a purchase) is by mailing in an entry….

My guess is that 99% of the entries will be coming from stays booked with a Mastercard.

The Prizes:

Grand Prize (1 winner): A 4-day/ 3-night trip for 4 to Las Vegas, NV

Trip includes:

• Accommodations in a Luxury Suite at The Venetian or the Palazzo
• 240,000 American Airlines AAdvantage Miles
• Ground transportation to/from the airport and hotel
• 4 Premium Show tickets (to be determined by Sponsor)
• A dinner for 4 at one of the Celebrity Chef Restaurants located in the Venetian or the Palazzo (to be determined by Sponsor)
• $1,000 MasterCard Prepaid Card
• $5,000 check to be used by winner to help offset winner’s tax liability in connection with the Grand Prize

How To Enter: (from the sweepstakes T&Cs)

Enter the Sweeps using your Mastercard by:

• Visit ihg.com/onemoredayand complete the Sweeps registration form per the instructions provided
• After registering for the Sweeps, book a one (1) night or a consecutive night reservation for a stay that will occur between May 31, 2015 and July 31, 2015 with your MasterCard at a U.S. based IHG property (excluding Kimpton properties) using the ihg.com/onemoreday link.
• Complete your reservation by staying at the IHG property that you reserved (excluding Kimpton properties) and paying in full for one (1) night or consecutive nights between May 31, 2015 and July 31, 2015 with your Card.

Enter the Sweeps By Mail W/out Making A Purchase:

• Receive one entry by hand printing your name, complete mailing address, telephone number, date of birth, the first six (6) digits of your Card, and the words “IHG^® and MasterCard^® “One More Day” Sweepstakes” on a plain 3” x 5” piece of paper.
• Mail it in a sealed, stamped and hand printed #10 envelope to: IHG and MasterCard “One More Day” Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 15119, Bridgeport, CT 06673-5119.
• Enter as often as you wish by mail from now until July 31, 2015
• Each entry must be mailed separately and must be postmarked by July 31, 2015 and received by August 7, 2015.

Contest Rules:

• “Open to MasterCard individual and small business cardholders whose account was opened by a MasterCard customer financial institution before May 15, 2015 and is still active”.
• Must be a permanent legal U.S. resident, including D.C.
• Must be 21 years of age or older before 5/15/15
• Canceled reservations or reservations that go unused are not eligible for entry.
• Booking through any other method will not count for the Sweeps.
• You will only receive one entry even if you stay for longer than one night.
• All reservations must be completed and paid in full by 11:59:59PM ET on July 31, 2015 to be eligible (i.e. the last night’s stay which will count towards an entry for the Sweeps is July 31, 2015).  
• There is no limit to the number of valid entries an eligible consumer may receive during the Promo Period, regardless of entry method.
• No photocopied, computer generated facsimiles, mechanically reproduced, or mass entries permitted.

Sweepstakes ends 11:59:59pm ET on July 31, 2015.
