If you’ve ever dreamt of working for an airline and love working outdoors then Southwest might have a job for you.

The airline is looking to hire 500 Ramp Agents to “to provide our famous Southwest Hospitality by handling cargo and baggage service, directing and servicing aircraft, and performing related activities on the airport ramp” according to Nuts About Southwest.

Southwest is being upfront about the position as it is a demanding one.

For starters you’ll be working “non-traditional hours” and will also have to deal with “exposure to a wide variety of weather conditions“.

Southwest is looking to hire around the country and even offer relocation assistance for those that move from over 100 miles away for a Ramp Agent position in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston or Baltimore.

Here are a few perks that come with a job with Southwest: (from Nuts About Southwest)

  • Legendary Southwest Culture
  • Travel privileges for Employees and their eligible dependents
  •  An excellent benefits package, including a dollar-for-dollar match in the 401(k) plan, up to 8.3 percent of eligible salary
  • Annual Profit Sharing, which, in 2014, equaled five weeks of pay toward Employee retirement accounts.

One major piece of info which seems to be missing is what the salary range is for the Ramp Agent position and I can’t say that I have a clue as to what it might pay…
