Terrorism Affecting Travel, Waiting to Load REDcard, Pilots Fighting, Runway Lights Off & More- The Rehash!

Rehash

Later tonight we’ll be heading home from our trip to Myanmar.

It’s been a great trip and I think we made an excellent choice in choosing where to go during our Spring break! I hope that those of you on break from work had some enjoyable time off too.

The internet continues to be spotty and quite frustrating at times but it worked better than I had expected it too. And now it’s time for a quick look back at this week’s posts in a recap that I like to call The Rehash!

While on the topic of our trip to Myanmar, here are a couple of posts where I shared a little of what the country is like.

In what I’d call one of the more ridiculous stories related to an airline, who’d believe that pilots fight in cockpit prior to flight.

The baseball season is under way and one Yankee is absent from the field. Will there be a new job in store for Derek Jeter: Baseball Legend, Airport Restaurateur.

A strange e-mail led to to find this offer confusing: TopCashBack 7% cash back at IHG or Intercontinental properties?

If I was a passenger on this flight I’d definitely be pissed off. Runway lights off, plane turns back.

Do you use the Target REDcard? If so, what’s the longest you’ve waited to load REDcard?

What do you think, is terrorism shrinking our travel world?

On that note, I hope that everyone has a great week. Make sure to keep checking back for daily new posts here at Michael W Travels!

  1. Really? “Terrorism Effecting Travel”? I think you mean “Affecting” as in having an influence on something rather than “Effecting”, unless you mean that terrorism is necessary for travel to happen.
