One of my favorite days of year is fast approaching. A day off from work and free money to spend, makes for a fun day after Thanksgiving!

This year for American Express Small Business Saturday, each Amex card will qualify for up to three (3) $10 statement credits. This will be the most lucrative (per card) bonus to date.

American Express Small Business Saturday takes place on November 29, 2014.

To qualify, registration is required. (Registration is limited so I’d be sure to act fast and register your cards as soon as possible.)

Registration opened last night at 12:00 AM MST so I made sure to stay up and register my 3 American Express cards. This is the least amount of Amex cards that I’ve had for the promo in years but I’m not complaining. $90 free to spend is nothing to cry home about!

• 2013- We were in Florida last year and didn’t really have time  to run around look for small businesses to shop at. So I bought $10 gift cards (I believe we had 5 Amex cards) at a local market and my parent gave me the money back for them.

Which Cards Qualify?

All American Express cards qualify except for Corporate Cards and all prepaid Card products (other than Bluebird and Serve).

How To Register (from Amex):

A. By completing the registration form accessible via ShopSmall.com 
B. By logging in to your account at americanexpress.com and clicking on the ‘Amex Offers’ tab or ‘Small Business Saturday’ offer tile in ‘Amex Offers & Benefits’
C. By logging into the American Express App and visiting the ‘Offers For You’ tab in the ‘Membership’ section
D. By adding the offer directly to your connected Card via amex.co/facebook
E. By tweeting #AmexShopSmall to add the offer directly to your connected Card

To qualify for the $10 statement credit, you must spend $10 or more in a transaction at a qualifying small business on November 29. Online purchases will not count. Purchases at gas stations also will not count.
