With the Super Bowl being held in the New York City area at MetLife Stadium, (home to the New York Giants & Jets) there are lots of free special events going on around the city.
Super Bowl Boulevard will take over Broadway from 34th to 47th Street from January 29 – February 1 from noon to 10 PM. There will be various free events going on, from kicking field goals to getting autographs during the event.

A few other events stood out which are affiliated with airlines.
Chase United card members can get exclusive access to the VIP Lounge at Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar (220 West 44th St).
The lounge will be open from January 29 – February 1 from 11 AM – 1 AM
Free sports themed food, beverages and more will be available.
Don’t forget to bring your Chase United card with you. You will be asked to show it along with photo ID.

The Southwest Porch at Bryant Park will become the Southwest Airlines Big Game Headquarters. (Bryant Park is located betw. 40th and 42nd St & 5th and 6th Avenues)
Events started a couple of days ago and runs until February 2 from 12 PM – 10 PM.
According to the site: Play Flick Football, warm up with heaters and try Game Day Eats by ‘wichcraft!
- Saturday, February 1st at 12pm: Special Guest from the College Football Hall of Fame
- Sunday, February 2nd at 6:25pm: Big Game Screening – come join us at The Porch to watch the Big Game!
There will also be a contest where you can win a pair of tickets on Southwest.

Delta will be having Football Stars at the Club at select Sky Clubs around the NYC area.
Retired, local NFL players will be visiting the 3 local airports starting January 30th. After taking a photo or getting an autograph, enjoy some cocktails, beer, snacks and giveaways.
