Holiday Inn: Kids Stay and Eat Free

Kim and I are always happy to hear news about airlines and hotels that are getting more family friendly. Luckily we’ve never had any issues on flights or in a hotel while traveling with Lucas.

While on Twitter I came across a tweet from Holiday Inn:

“Kids eat and stay free at @HolidayInn! One more way we help keep costs in check on the #family trip! #deal #travel ”

This sounded like some great news and a way to possibly save money for families.

With Lucas being under 2 I can’t think of any hotels that would charge a fee for him but this info could come in handy in the future. I decided to click on the provided link to get some additional information about this offer.

Kids Eat Free: “Up to four kids age 12 and under eat free any time of day in any Holiday Inn on-site restaurant”.  Available at Holiday Inn, HI Select, HI Resort, HI SunSpree Resorts in the U.S., Canada and Europe. KIds eat for free from the kids menu and must be accompanied by a family member eating from the regular menu.

Kids Stay Free:  “Holiday Inn Hotels are committed to providing family-friendly travel options”.  When sharing their parent’s room, kids 19 and under stay for free.

It seems like Holiday Inn is definitely trying to appeal to families and make traveling just a bit easier (and possibly cheaper.)

    1. Based on the tweet & info page, I’d think that these are new benefits. The dining benefit alone is pretty interesting and generous. I’d expect kids, lets say 12 and under to always be free. IMO a 19 year old is an adult so it’s nice of them to extend the freebie to older kids. BTW- I also do not stay at Holiday Inns much.
